Ric Cantor kinda hates bios. Which is why he got AI to write this. But he’s kinda a bit of a control freak, so he had to edit it. And throw it away and start again. He also hates writing about himself in the third person, so this is kinda confusing, cause Golden asked him to write his own bio. So who is writing this? Who knows? Ok. A potted history. He grew up in a Jewish ghetto in Manchester, UK, learning his craft writing Bar Mitzvah speeches. After bumming around the world and briefly working for the Yakuza in Japan, he came back to London and befriended some comedians and shot a bunch of commercials and films and TV which some people kinda liked and some awards people thought were cool which is all very nice but ultimately he just loves what he does and feels very lucky to be working in a fun business with creative people who are a laugh. He’s also on the board of a great organization called Manifest Works, but you’re gonna google him anyway so google that too.
